Abstract
This report contributes to the HeliSafe concept validation in Task 4.3 and concentrates specifically on a final validation of the HOSS concept. Other reports in this task are concerned with validation of the safety concept and Aerodummy. Attention is given to the validity of the MADYMO cockpit model and the PamSafe cabin model, by comparison of simulation results with test data. Then to illustrate the use of the MADYMO cockpit model as a predictive design tool where no test data are available, the influence of seat absorber characteristics on occupant safety and injuries for the more severe HS3 pulse is evaluated.
