Abstract

Stereoscopic and Multi-plane PIV measurements on artificially excited flat plate boundary layer flows will be presented. The results are focused on the late stages of K- and oblique-type transition and on the development of a turbulent spot in a laminar vincinity. Instantaneous velocity fields of transitional flow structures are shown in a high spatial resolution.
