Abstract

PIV experiments at the EUROPIV nozzle with and without swirl have been performed by DLR Göttingen. A photographic PIV system utilising a rotating mirror for ambiguity removal has been used. The resulting images were evaluated with an optical/digital and with a fully digital PIV system developed at DLR. The usability of latex particles and oil droplets for seeding has been investigated during these experiments
