This paper presents the numerical simulation and the analysis of viscous high-lift flows around a complex wing/body configuration (DLR ALVAST) with deployed high-lift devices. The solution of the Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations (RANS) is carried out using the block structured FLOWer-code and the unstructured Tau-code of DLR. The results of both approaches are compared carefully to each other and also to measurements from the large low speed facility of the German-Dutch wind-tunnel DNW.
