Abstract

This contribution to the book "Aerodynamics of Road Vehicles" (Editor: W.H. Hucho) is an overview of the State-of-the-art applications of computational fluid dynamics in automobile industry. Emphasis is placed mainly in conveying the applications, potential and inadequacies of the approach in an industrial environment and to a lesser extent on details of the methodology. Target audience is engineering draft from automotive industry with little or no experience of CFW.
