Abstract

In the new version of APSIM-E, the following additional functions have been added since last modification: The requirement of the input blade airload to be based on the time length of only one rotor revolution was removed. The number of revolutions in the input airloads can be specified. This characteristic is very important for the tail rotor noise computation as the airloads on the tail rotor may not repeat after one revolution. A new parameter (INREV) was introduced in the APSIM-E input file.
