The main activities in the development and application of modern non intrusive optical measurement techniques of the Section Experimental Methods of DLRs Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology will be presented. The techniques comprise mobile measurement systems such as Pressure Sensitive Paint, Particle Image Velocimetry, Model Deformation Measurements, Non Standard Video Techniques etc..
