Abstract
Within the EU-project EPISTLE the partners qualified their CFD codes by computing the flow of a SCT low speed high-lift configuration. The range of results obtained on a common and several different denser meshes using algebraic, one- and two equation turbulence models are analysed. Based on investigations regarding the influences of numerical methods and physical models recommendations are formulated to improve the simulation accuracy and quality.
